Fitter

In this trade, trainees acquire the skill of using metal cutting, shaping, filing & machinist tools perfectly to make metal parts with accuracy. This trade gives knowledge regarding the operation of various general machines used in the mechanical industry. The demand for fitter trade trainees is from plumbing, welding, and smithy tool room & maintenance department of the Industry. Fitter Personnel are able to make precision metal jobs manually as well as on machines. After passing this trade, the fitter trainees can get jobs in various mechanical industries and also be self-employed.

On successful completion of the course, trainees can pursue apprenticeship training in reputed Industries / Organizations.
On successful completion of the course, the trainees can opt for a diploma course (Lateral entry).
On successful completion of the course trainees can opt for the CITS course.
